Dialysis Registered Nurse

Full job description

Great opportunity for a new Registered Nurse with less than one year of clinical nursing as a
Registered Nurse. We are training nurses without prior dialysis experience in hemodialysis and
peritoneal dialysis to be on our team in Watsonville.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities You Will Learn:

• Provide nursing care to in-center and home dialysis patients.
• Responsible for Plan of Care, monitoring, administration, and documentation of medication
  administration.
• Oversight of patient care technicians (including Certified Clinical Hemodialysis
  Technicians, and CCHT’s in training.
• Communication with the patient’s nephrologist.
• Communication with other providers (SNF, Acute Care, Home Health) as required for the
  clinic’s patients.
• Work with other members of the Inter-Disciplinary Team on a regular basis (Social Worker
  Dietitian, Nephrologist, CCHT)

Minimum Qualifications:

• California Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Strong computer literacy and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.
• Must be a team player and deal in an environment with a flexible schedule.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
• Desire to grow and develop in the dialysis profession.

Sanderling Dialysis of Watsonville operates on the Alternate Work Week Schedule, shifts are 12
hours, 3 days a week, straight time, double time after 12 hours.
